Architect Credentialing Requirements

[*] National Council of Architectural Registration Boeards (NCARB) is composed of the state or territorial licensing bodies that regulate the practice of architecture in the United States. It was formed to develop and recommend standards regulating the practice of architecture, develop and recommend standards to be required of an applicant for architectural registration, provide a process for certifying to registration boards the qualifications of an architect for reciprocal registration, and present the interests of member state boards before public and private agencies.

[*] The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is a membership organization for professional registered architects. National members are also members of their state and local chapters.

[*] Professional Publications, Inc. (commercial publisher) provides a search feature that can be used for architecture exam resources.
